A Message from Omega World Travel

Welcome to the Omega Travel Team News which we promise will be a fun and great use of your time.
Think of it as a five-minute break from your busy schedules!  Our aim is to bring you inspiring articles and stories you may have missed, but not necessarily related to corporate business travel. We will look for some inspiration in the leisure space, personal development, the environment and the arts to mention a few.  Most excitingly we will have regular guest contributors who will answer three quick questions in our ‘In conversation with’ section.

To start, Graham Angus, head of Hosted Buyer Operations at Northstar Travel Media, gives us a flavour of what to expect at this year’s Business Travel Show Europe, The Meetings Show and TravelTech Show on the 19th June.  In this edition we will also share Air Plus Travel Trends 2024, IATA’s much anticipated Greenhouse gases in review and a very interesting article by Guardian on how European cities are tacking ‘overtourism’.

Would you believe it is Business Travel Show Europe’s 30 year anniversary? Omega World Travel has been exhibiting from the very start so we are proud to be part of such a success story. See you there!

Finally, we will be running regular competitions with our airlines, hotel and all partners (think airlines tickets, hotel stays, bottles of something nice) so please stay tuned and make sure you check out our next newsletter.

Take care, The Omega World Travel team

Francesco:  Graham, how is your year so far?  Graham: Time is flying, I can’t believe we are at the end of February already. I am not…
